Safety measures

Swimming pool is a place for relaxation and enjoyment and the inspectors try to ensure that the purpose is well served. Hence, they carry out several measures to see if the pool is safe enough for people to enjoy. The possible safety procedures could be to ensure that there are no electric wires in and around the pool. Similarly, it is essential to check if the nearby walkways of the pool are not too slippery in water as this might cause damage to the people. The most important part in the pool inspection is to make sure that proper fencing is there so that the kids cannot access the pool side. In order to have a better view of fencing, feel free to check out pool fence inspections in Gold Coast.

The interior of the pool
The most important thing to check inside the pool is the vinyl liners. These are devices that are used to ensure that the water is stored inside the pool and doesn’t steep out in any case. A damage or fault in the vinyl liner can seriously raise concerns for the buyer forcing them to repair. Another important thing that the inspector should look after is to see if the plaster inside the pool is good enough. Any kind of cracks or damages can be of great concern for the buyer.

Lighting inside the pool

Although this might come as a surprise to some but there are several pools that contain lighting inside. This looks a lot cooler, but it can a serious concern if there are no safety precautions within them. If there are the traditional lights installed, then it is advisable to get them replaced in a timely manner before they cause hazardous outcomes. However, in case they are the new LED bulbs, then the buyer is good to go.

Pool pumps

The pump used for pumping water in and out of the pool is one of the essential equipment for the swimming pool. The main purpose of the pool pump is to circulate the water through the filters and keep it nice and warm. If the pool pump is not functioning properly, then there are a lot of concerns that can be raise for the buyer. Inspectors, hence, need to ensure that the pool is functioning properly and is pumping water around the pool.

About Me

Hi! I'm Annie and I have 3 kids (all in their teens - yikes!). My mommy blog isn't all about lunches and DIY - it's also about humour. Like how my kids make fun of my texts as if I don't know how to use emojis (I DO!). Now that I have a bit more time - since my kids don't want to hang out with me (teenagers), I have taken up blogging.
