A Guide To Buying The Best Blinds

April 12, 2021 by Annie

Our house is nothing short of a sanctuary to us. We put in our everything in order to turn a structure of bricks and cement into what we can call home. So, it is only justified that we treat with all love and try our level best to beautify and protect it. Investing in good quality rulookardin is a great first step to achieve the level of beauty and protection that we are aiming at.

However, it is not the easiest task to buy the best blinds. Especially with all the options available in the market, we often face a tough time finding the right blinds. Most people have the misconception that blinds are just for the show biz. To prove them wrong and help you out, we have a guide that will help you buy the best blinds.

Material matters the most

If you did not already know, the material of the blinds is what makes them so special. So, it goes without saying that you must give the blinds material the importance that it deserves. Polyester is the best material. It is extremely lightweight and is very effective in giving that blackout effect that most people buy blinds for. Ask the seller to show you some good quality polyester blinds, and it wouldn’t be so hard for you to make a decision.

However, there are also several options available when it comes to the coating of the blinds—for example, aluminum coating, rubber coating, etc.

You can’t compromise with the fitting

If your blinds are ill-fitted, they defeat the purpose of getting blinds in the first place. So, you can tell that fitting matters way too much. There can’t be even one centimeter of gap between the end of your blinds and the end of the door of the window if you want the complete impact of blackout blinds. This is because even if a little bit of noise of sunlight can enter your room, you might not be able to get the kind of peaceful rest that you are looking for. So, pay close attention while taking measurements for your blinds. Remember that even the slightest of the mistakes could cost you.

Colors matter a lot

Blinds might not be only for the sake of decoration, but they still carry an element of beauty with them. It wouldn’t hurt you to pay attention to the appearance of the blinds. You can buy blinds that are both pretty and functional. So, pick your favorite colors if you are looking for fun blinds. Neutral colors like beige and black are the most common. Beige will make your room look luminous and big, while black will ensure that natural light can’t seep into your room.

Compare prices

Blinds can turn out to be expensive, and there is no point getting substandard blinds from unreliable sellers. So, compare prices between online stores and real markets. Go with the option that best suits your budget. You won’t be disappointed.

You can check out Avaeksperdid for their extensive range of blinds and other window accessories.

About Me

Hi! I'm Annie and I have 3 kids (all in their teens - yikes!). My mommy blog isn't all about lunches and DIY - it's also about humour. Like how my kids make fun of my texts as if I don't know how to use emojis (I DO!). Now that I have a bit more time - since my kids don't want to hang out with me (teenagers), I have taken up blogging.
