6 Toy Storage Solutions in your Apartment

In case you didn’t know, the average household owns, by the very least, 71 toys. Also, experts say that more than 10 percent of homes in the world have more than 200 toys in them, so where do you put all of them?

There are a few things you have to consider first, such as space in square meters and how much floor and closets do you count with. Checking for apartments for sale in Dubai or in Palm Jumeirah might be just the answer, but if you’re not looking to move out to some of those amazing off plan projects by Dubai properties, here are some tips so you start changing things for you and your family regarding home space for toys.

1. COMMAND PICTURE LEDGES AS BOOKSHELVES

Most apartments don’t have the space to put a large bookshelf in them. Try with some command picture ledges and use them to store books, crayons, and notebooks.

These type of ledges can actually hold up to five pounds and they also stick to the wall without causing any damage to it. Isn’t it amazing?

2. BENCHES WITH CUBBY STORAGE

Cubby storages are the perfect solution when it comes to where to put your kid’s or kids’ toys in your apartment.

This type of storage allows you and your children to customize and categorize their toys so finding specific toys is way easier to them and without making any mess. It also makes the cleaning up the process a piece of cake.

3. REMOVABLE WALL HOOKS

Using removable wall hooks can help you hang lightweight baskets or bins so your kids can store small stuffed animals, pajamas, costumes and so much more.

4. PORTABLE TOY STORAGE

You can’t imagine how helpful relying on traditional cart toy storages can be. This type of storages can provide you with the extra space you need for all of your children’s toys. Everything’s as simple as rolling the cart away when the toys aren’t needed.

5. OVER-THE-DOOR RACKS

Instead of using this over-the-door racks for shoes, you can use them to put your children’s toys in them. You can store stuffed animals, dolls and almost any kind of small toy you can think about. It’s the perfect option to find that extra-hidden storage you need.

6. DUAL-PURPOSE FURNITURE

Choosing furniture that works for and serves more than one purposes is very important when you don’t have that much space. There are some sectionals with under cushion storages that might work to store those annoying toys.
