Top Beaches In Bali

March 5, 2018 by Annie

If you are looking for fine sandy beaches, beautiful blue seas and everything in between you should definitely put Bali in your bucket list. Bali is like a paradise on earth and very few destinations can surpass the beauty of this location. Located about 600 miles east of the capital Jakarta, Bali province is made of Bali island and other smaller islands. The island has also received many tourism awards including the recent 2017 TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Award. In order to see all the beauty the island has to offer, it is recommended to find a place to stay during your travels such as, one of the villas in Bali. But first, let’s look at the top beaches Bali has to offer.

  1. Kuta Beach

Kuta beach is one of the favorites for visitors and locals alike. The vibe and the setting is very much unique to this place. If you are not residing at the adjacent resorts, you can access Kuta beach through the Geger village or Yasa Segara The area where the resort is one of the best and the scenery is great if you love to take photos. There is also a vibrant nightlife at Kuta Beach.

  1. Nusa Dua Beach

Nusa Dua is one of the best beaches in the whole of Bali. It has crystal clear blue waters and white fine sand. This beach is also home to some of the finest resorts in Indonesia and indeed the whole of Asia such as St Regis and The Laguna. The beach is clean and vending is minimal which makes the Nusa Dua beach a great place to relax and enjoy the breeze from the sea.

  1. Jimbaran Beach

You can get to enjoy the full experience of the Jimbaran beach if you stay at some of the resorts that are found adjacent to the beach. There are plenty of barbecue restaurants on this beach where you can get to enjoy freshly caught sea food. You can find resorts such as The Intercontinental, Four Seasons and Keraton Hotel among others. If you like to be in beaches with big crowds and a lot of activities taking place, the Jimbaran beach is a good choice.

  1. Echo Beach

If you are looking for an ideal location to surf, look no further. The Echo beach has gained a lot of popularity lately due to the infrastructure that is coming up next to the beach. Echo beach has a bit of rocks and might not be the best area if you want to swim or experience long sandy beaches. It however does make up for this in other ways.

  1. Sanur Beach

Sanur beach has a 4.3 mile paved walkway which can be used for biking, walking, morning runs or taking photos. Sanur beach has been fitted with breakwaters to prevent erosion. If you want the best spot at this expansive beach, try the area around the Hyatt resort. This beach is also best suited to people who want to have a calm and relaxing experience since its expansive and you can find your own perfect spot to unwind.

These are some of the top beaches in Bali. So, get ready to pack your bags for your next beach vacation because if you choose any of the above beaches, you will not go wrong as each one of them has it unique features. You will also find the culture surrounding the beaches such as the fresh sea food prepared by vendors on the beach another interesting aspect of beaches in Bali.

About Me

Hi! I'm Annie and I have 3 kids (all in their teens - yikes!). My mommy blog isn't all about lunches and DIY - it's also about humour. Like how my kids make fun of my texts as if I don't know how to use emojis (I DO!). Now that I have a bit more time - since my kids don't want to hang out with me (teenagers), I have taken up blogging.
