Importance and Disadvantages of Homeschooling

January 25, 2021 by Annie

Some parents consider homeschooling for their children because of many reasons. Before you take that option, you have to know both the benefits and disadvantages. Do not just decide that it is the right thing for your child without looking at the other side. You have to weigh both the negative and positive parts so that you can conclude. One of the most common negative sites can be laziness when it comes to keeping all your papers properly edited from comfy home environment. To overcome that, try getting help from writemyessayz.com that will help you with perfecting your papers..

Benefits

Strong Bonds

When your children school at home, you will spend time with them. You will be able to understand them better and eventually have strong bonds. You will be the first person they run to whenever they encounter any problem. You will be a happy parent because of the bond you will have with your children.

Fun

You will show your children that education is not as dull as they think. They will have so much fun because they will be studying in the comfort of their home. They will enjoy learning more because of the environment.

Schedule

Students who attend school have to wake up early, prepare then run to school. You have the power to change that and have a favorable schedule for your kids. They can start schooling at any time you want as long as they are comfortable. They will not have the stress of waking up early and running to school. The schedule you put for them is what will work.

Protection

When your children learn from home, there is no way they will get in trouble. They will not have problems with other students or even start using drugs. They will have discipline because most of the time, they will be at home. You will not have to go to school now and again because of indiscipline cases.

Personal Interaction

Teachers do not have the time to know each student at a certain level. When you have your kids at home, you will talk more with them and understand them better. You will know how they reason, what they love, and many more. When you have a personal interaction with your kids, there is no way they will hide anything from you, and that is what many parents want. If you want to learn more about teacher-student interaction you might want to look up the sociology homework answers.

Disadvantages

Restraining Anger

The best thing about teachers is that they are patient. That is one skill that makes them professions. When you are at home with your children and do not understand any point, you will get angry and feel like giving up. Some students are not fast learners, and teachers know how to deal with such. They do not get mad when a student does not understand a concept. They try as much as they can to help them understand. Since you are a parent, It can be challenging for you.

Motivation

Teachers have the time to motivate students until they improve and get better. You will not have the energy to encourage your children all the time when things go wrong.

Speaking to People

You will have to talk to people doing the same thing to learn how they solve problems. It is not easy because the solutions they consider cannot work on your side.

About Me

Hi! I'm Annie and I have 3 kids (all in their teens - yikes!). My mommy blog isn't all about lunches and DIY - it's also about humour. Like how my kids make fun of my texts as if I don't know how to use emojis (I DO!). Now that I have a bit more time - since my kids don't want to hang out with me (teenagers), I have taken up blogging.
