Create The Letter From Santa Your Kids Will Adore

November 14, 2018 by Annie

It is important that parents stay in touch with modern trends and technology, even if the responses are hilarious when we text our kids, but equally, there is a lot to be said for holding on to some of the traditional aspects of life. This is especially true when it comes to Christmas.

Even though the commercialisation of the festive season has been happening for far too long, it really hits home these days. The appearance of Christmas decorations and music occurs earlier and earlier each year, and it is becoming harder to avoid. Given that this is a time when many people find it harder to find the money to maintain their lifestyle, let alone have a brilliant time at Christmas, it is understandable that many people are growing disenchanted with Christmas.

However, it doesn’t have to be this way and it shouldn’t be this way. If you are a parent, you have a responsibility to ensure that Christmas remains a magical time of year for your kids. Yes, there will be pressure to buy the latest and greatest toy and to let them enjoy the extravagance that is commonplace with a modern-day Christmas, but equally, there is a lot to be said for focusing on the simpler aspects of the festive season.

Receiving a letter from Santa is likely to be a big moment for a child

Letters from Santa is something that will be adored and cherished by children. After all, letters are an increasingly rare occurrence these days, making it a proper event when one arrives. If you are looking for an opportunity to draw your family together, having a personalised letter from Santa will catch the attention of the whole family.

Christmas is about bringing people together. While the sharing of presents or enjoying a large Christmas dinner is an enjoyable period, it isn’t the gifts or the food that is the most important thing, it is coming together. When you have more opportunities to gather your loved ones together and spend quality time in each other’s company, you have a greater chance of enjoying Christmas in the manner you used to and want to do so again.

Do you worry about the magic being lost from Christmas?

Many people feel or even fear that the magic has been lost from Christmas, but this doesn’t have to be the case. In fact, there are many ways that you can pepper a touch of magic into proceedings and who better to rely on than Father Christmas himself?

There is a sense of wonder and magic associated with the story of Santa Claus. The longer a child believes in the story, the better, and it is only natural that parents want to support this piece of Christmas tradition for as long as they can. Given that Santa Claus has a list that he checks to find out if children have been naughty or nice, it is obvious that he knows everything that a child has been up to.

Personalisation ensures the magic goes a little bit further this festive period

Therefore, having the chance to personalise the letter from Santa to your child creates the platform where you can retain the magic of this time of year. There will be things that only you or Santa Claus would know about your child and what they have been up to during the past year, and this is the sort of personalised content to place into the letter that will make a child truly believes in the spirit of Christmas.

There is also a chance for parents to inspire and influence their happy children with their personalised letter from Santa. When Father Christmas praises a child and asks that they keep doing positive things in the New Year, it is likely to be heeded without complaint or fuss. Some parents may get jealous about how likely kids are to take guidance from Father Christmas while being unlikely to listen to their parents, but that isn’t a new thing.

Personalised letters from Lapland Mailroom give you the chance to create the perfect message that will make your child pay attention and fall in love with Christmas a little bit more. No matter what your thoughts on the present day festive season, there is a genuine chance to connect with the past and ensure all your loved ones have a Christmas they adore.

About Me

Hi! I'm Annie and I have 3 kids (all in their teens - yikes!). My mommy blog isn't all about lunches and DIY - it's also about humour. Like how my kids make fun of my texts as if I don't know how to use emojis (I DO!). Now that I have a bit more time - since my kids don't want to hang out with me (teenagers), I have taken up blogging.
