25 Types Of Sectional Sofa

There are many types of sectional sofa on this list, and each one of them is going to give you a different experience based on what you need. Be sure that you have really put some thought into this because the right sectional can completely change your experience in the living room. A good sectional makes it very nice to sit down to watch TV, but a bad sectional can make it very uncomfortable.

1. Leather

Maybe a mid century modern sectional would work for you when you get the best leather style.

2. Hooked

The hooked style just curls a little bit on both ends so that you get a nice shape that is very unique. These are almost like retro sectionals.

3. Half Moon

The half moon curves this shape perfectly so that you can see people on either side of the sectional.

4. Tufted

Tufted fabric makes the sectional look vintage, and that is a very good thing for you because you need to have something that looks opulent.

5. Blocked

The block style just turn on both ends to almost make a box.

6. Right Angle

The right angle is the most popular sectional because it is one that put up against two walls to complete seating in the room.

7. Arrow

The arrow is just a steep angle like a triangle.

8. Curl

The curl hooks more than others, and it looks almost lopsided.

9. Open Ended

The open ended sectional has an open spot on both sides that does not have a traditional back. They do this instead of a chaise or sectional.

10. Center Table

The center table has a table in the middle because that is the only way that you will be able to lay down all the things you need to rest for a while. This is like having the end table built in the middle.

11. Drink Holder

This sectional has the drink holder in the middle where you need to leave your drinks and your magazines.

12. One Chaise

You could have a chaise extending from one side if this is what you want. This is a nice place to lie down. Plus, it can be very easy for you to use because you might need a place to rest or sleep.

13. Circle

This sectional will almost turn all the way in on itself, and that is a very helpful thing when you want to have more intimate talks among a large group of people.

14. Straight

This is like a regular sofa, but the sectional pulls apart if you think you need it.

15. Stretched

Stretched sectionals are just very long and they offer more room for everyone.

16. One Hook

The one hook style just hooks like a J, and it gives you a place that you can cradle on one side where you have regular seating on the other side.

17. Two Hooks

The two hooks style wraps into itself. This is like a big oval.

18. End Table

The end table style of the sectional has the end table built in where you can use it just on one end. In rare cases, it has the end table on both sides.

19. Velveteen

All velvet is perfect for someone who wants to have a very soft fabric to lie on.

20. Center Chaise

The center chaise allows you to lounge down the middle of this couch instead of on the sides.

21. Question Mark

The question mark has two different sections that face two different sections. These are common in night clubs.

22. Old School

The old school style is one that hooks slightly while still having the high back that you are used to in old furniture.

23. Mission Bench

You get storage underneath, and there is a high back that is very comfortable.

24. Kickstand

This one has a place for everyone to kick up their feet where many take out this option.

25. Interrupted

This sectional is two part where one long section begins halfway through the other. This looks unique and creates two places to sit.

Each sectional on the list changes how you relax at home every day.

About Me

Hi! I'm Annie and I have 3 kids (all in their teens - yikes!). My mommy blog isn't all about lunches and DIY - it's also about humour. Like how my kids make fun of my texts as if I don't know how to use emojis (I DO!). Now that I have a bit more time - since my kids don't want to hang out with me (teenagers), I have taken up blogging.
